(I forgot to say that that video was by "The Bird and the Bee" - oops!)I got a lot done today, yet another trip to the tip! How much junk was I hoarding - a lot!
I listened to an awful lot of "Rachel Unthank and the Winterset" today, well both albums at least. The first album is good but the second "The Bairns" is sublime, forget your preconceptions of "folk" music, it is wonderful! Strangely sad and uplifting at the same time!
Sadly I notice they are playing "in the round" in Newcastle the week after Barbara goes home - bad timing, I would have loved to have went together!
